Thank you for supporting local artists. I’m excited you are interested in taking a class!

At this time, I am offering adult art classes in Portsmouth, NH (including some evening art classes) in the following mediums: Mosaics, Stained-Glass and Felted Wool. I just launched a new teen stained-glass class in May, 2025 and hope to have more options for younger children by end of 2025. My classes are fully inclusive, non-competitive, relaxing and pure FUN! I can also accommodate private group events for 6 people and create a crafting activity for your staff, bridal party, girls’ night out, etc. Please e-mail Karen at olivetealarts@gmail.com with your interest.

I’m a big believer in making things you can actually use - so everything you make in one of my classes will be usable art! No templates, sample boards, etc. I want you to get the most value out of my classes - and immediately begin using, wearing or displaying your beautiful creations!

Ok - now more specifics….

My Studio: The entrance is on the far right side under terra cotta pots garland. It is nice and bright, comfortable for sitting or standing and will include some yummy snacks and beverages. I’ll always have some music playing and hope my studio will be a place you can say “Ahhhhhhh”. Note: Studio address will appear in an e-mail confirmation once class registration is complete.

***For your convenience, I’ve installed a bike rack directly outside my studio entrance***

Parking: Please park in my driveway as the first option (3 cars) and leave space directly out front of my studio (on my side of street only) for individuals who may need closer access. Please carpool whenever possible.

Accessibility: I have a newly installed walkway which will allow direct access from the street. There are 3 steps into my studio with handrails on both sides. I have a telescoping ramp for standard manual wheelchairs. Once inside my studio, there are no thresholds and my studio and adjoining bathroom are both wheelchair accessible.
